Subject: Depends on weather...

WC ILL or on a HD on a road to 'somewhere'...

The severe drought that 'this' part of the world experianced last summer pretty well broke people on the CC rotation. Didn't matter how it was done, just that it was done was enough. 50% reduction in most cases. 50% of <100bu corn kinda nips.

This year is a different one. I did a flag for the entertainment of local C-130 wing last year that was a 6acre patch of corn surrounded by beans. Different varieties made up the stripes & 'blue field'. The drought kept it from being much, so I came up w/ a 'new plan' = no NH3 on the 'white' stripes. Planted the whole field back to corn, using the old stalks to guage where to apply N & not to apply. Today, I can't tell you where the stripes are. There was enough carryover N from that which was applied in the fall of '04 to supply enough to keep the stripes from looking deficient now!

'Normally', 'here' a plugged knife will show up all season in corn following beans....
