Texas/New Mexico Stateline | How can a small guy hedge his crops with the markets moving like they are? I usually produce 0-15000 bu of wheat depending on the weather.

Previous settle $9.67
Opened limit down $9.37 -30
Moved back up to $9.84 +47
Closed at $9.44 -40
Correct me if I am wrong, but that is an awful lot of volatility. Scares me to death. If a person jumped the wrong way in the morning they would be in a huge mess by afternoon. |
