| Could've jumped from the building to the combine. According to my dad, a fellow near home using a metal bat playing softball got juiced while he was standing near the backstop. Lightning struck the metal backstop and jumped from there to this guy's bat. He had a carterized wound on his shoulder and total hearing loss on one side and partial on the other. I have no idea who the guy is, but I'd like to meet him and hear his story.
Moral of the story, it doesn't need to come up through the ground. It may have struck the shed and jumped through a leader (static charge) to the combine inside. | |
