Are you plating the truck commercial or Ag? If ag it's under 7,500 miles. Don't know if that helps you. If I was in your shoes I would either send back a letter stating your situation when I sent the 2290 in ( maybe better to have your attorney or CPA write the letter for you) or contact them at their 800 number. I have had questions & called them & they were very polite & helpful.
