once treated, do they recover nicely or do they stay as poor gainers? We've fed out most of our calves the last few years but with $4.50 corn and poor gain it just won't work. I'd rather sell them and sell the corn. We just shipped last years calves to Grand Island last week. These high feed prices just killed any profit. I would have been ahead selling the calves and letting someone else finish them. I'd still like to feed these calves to 800 lbs and then sell them.
