Subject: Re: Friday's soybean market - what actually happened?

Here's how "I" heard the story today,,,second handed,,,from the local elevator.

It wasnt disclosed till AFTER the close,,,that somebody sold 25 million bushels of cash beans. I asked paper beans or real beans,,,answer was real beans. This is enough to dump 40 cents off the price,,,I guess!!

MY question IS,,,does anyone know somebody BIG enough to sell 25 million bushel of beans in one pop??? How many such people can there be in the world??

Just as a matter of reference at 50 bu. average yeild,,,thats 500,000 acres or easy talking half million acres!! I am guessing that someone with half million acres MAY be a little sloppy someplace to effect 100% BEST managmnet practices so 50 MAY or MAY NOT be a real deal yield!!

NOW,,,,can anyone deny or confirm such a story??? Is this snopes able?? OR does this pass the 'sniff' test???--just wondering!!-d-
