E.Central MN | Grain prices will drop naturally as crops are harvested in other countries around the world, especially when half the soybeans are grown in S.America. I think the effect of an embargo would be an immediate implosion of our currency which would make all your paper profits rather worthless. The rich and powerful in Washington today are no different than the rich and powerful in other eras, they aren't going to flush their wealth down the toilet just because the poor and middle class have to pay a little more for food.
