Lapel, In | If it looks too good to be true/-------But is this year, the anomoly? We haven't even got to the acreage battle yet or had a weather problem. Son in law works for the #2 seed(in sales) company in Indiana and he just told me there were a LOT more beans sold than corn this winter verses the normal ratio.One of the better weather guys says there is a better than normal chance of a drought this growing season.Fertilizer prices--sky high,lots of corn on corn last year, Exports are 10million metric tons ahead of last year's 25 mmt at 12/8. China has suspended corn exports.World wide-wheat supplys are not that great.(think feed wheat ) I don't see any reason to be in a hurry to sell corn. Beans might be a different story. I think the big story will be a major cut in corn acreage and supply in the March report. | |
