LaSalle, Ontario, 10 miles south of Detroit Mi. | I made one out of pvc conduit. take 2 pieces 6' long. 1 piece is to be a size bigger than the other. I think i used 1" and 1 1/2" put a cap on the bigger piece so when you shove it into the grain no grain can enter until you turn the inner pipe to line up the holes.
use a die grinder to cut out the slots for the grain to enter into the pipe. The pipe i used is flared at 1 end so this will stop the 1 from siding down into the other.sorry if this does not make sense. I can send you a picture if you need one. I like the pvc it is not heavy to carry and you can shove it into the grain the full 5 or 6 feet. |
