NE SD

You know Roy, we never had 4H or FFA and I've never really heard it called anything but Native. Never actually looked into what it is. I wonder if dad would even know.

Our situation is kind of wierd. Like John says, anything that is fit is already broken up into farmland. We farm where it's flat in the valley and most of our pastures and hayland are in the hills or foothills just a few miles away.

Most everything here that isn't Native is Brome. We've got one field that sits where grandpa's hog manure ran off and in that spot every year it gets thick and hairy. It's not much more than stemmy though. I bet when baling that stuff we make a bale every 50-100 feet behind a v-rake setup to take in 27' or so.
