Subject: Re: Stock cows going to slaughter

Breckinridge Co. , Kentucky
Here in Ky, we sold alot of good young cows out of state and several that went killers. Drought played out pastures and left everyone with about 1/2 or less of normal hay crop. We've had enough rain to make up our water deficit but the lack of hay scared off buyers of cows and caused some serious culling. Cows should be in good demand next spring if we can get back to normal weather.
