| Local business here has concrete railroad ties @ $16.95 each with a guarantee of "500 yrs against rust and rot" LOL! Not sure how a guy would hook anything to them, bet it would be a lot of work with a masonry bit and special bolts made to expand in holes drilled in concrete.
An idea I read in Farm Show or somewhere had a windbreak fence built entirely out of RR ties. They took a trencher and set the ties a couple inches apart in a continuous row. Looks like it would get kinda expensive, but be dang stout! | |
