| New to the momma cow wintering. Have 13 beef cows some expecting now and some ready for breeding. Feeding hay grazer hay, not the best but they are cleaning it up. Have loose mineral out for them. They are not fat but not skinny. Should I be also putting out some protein for them? Cotton seed meal mixed with salt, protein tubs, blocks? Not sure they need cake every day. Located south of Dallas so it does not get that cold and then usually that long of a time period. Thanks for any information. | |
