Southwest Missouri | We are mostly happy with what we buy. You do need to know what you are buying. There are good cows. Some are not. There are some surprises. One cow that arrived at our farm is a big, good looking cow. Only problem is when she calved, her bag is smaller than mine. :( Dad is raising the calf on a bottle. That is fine as Dad needs and wants to do something like that.
The point is that it is caveat emptor (buyer beware) at the sale barn. There are some good buys.
