It probably is not "low phytate" corn, rather higher levels of the enzyme Phytase in the hog feed. With the recent and dramatic increases in mono/di-calcium phosphate prices the levels of phytase are rising and the inclusion of Phosphorus (Phosphate for the crop guys) is decreasing to help reduce diet costs.
