| Looks like that is a good feeder. It does need a modification that you can do fairly easily. The ends should be solid or grated some way such as part of a cattle panel so animals have to eat from the sides as designed. Don't get rid of the feeder because of the comments given, just modify it so it eliminates a potential and quite probably an unrealized problem. A minor cost that may pay a huge dividend. Suggest it to the salesman or mfg. as they probably never thought about a cow eating from the end. With the modifications I would have no problem using the feeder. | |
