there was study last yr in farm papers comparing ring,cone and cradle type feeders.U of MN?From my own experiance ther is a BIG diff in feeders of all makes.The cheap ring feeders with bars far apart cost you the most in lost feed and are probably junk in yr or 2.It also depends on hay you are feeding,fine grasshay will have more waste what ever type of feeder.
