well we are going wheat heavy this year and light on corn. having half as much corn as we did in 07 and 800 acres of wheat in 08 with double crop beans. we are going to be less cotton then in 07, but we picked up 550 acres of ground that pretty much has to be in cotton. landlords dont see the advantage as they have been cotton for as long as they can remember. But they are open for rotation but we decided being new tennants to not rock the boat first year. and this is 2.5+ bpa acre ground. And i look sometime in the spring for cotton to make a move. it just about has to or lose a very large percentage of acres again this year. one short crop and the world cotton supply will be in jepordy. So we have not booked any 08 cotton and looking for it to make a move, all the cotton buyers are pushing to book acres but i think they are just trying to get cotton cheap on more crop. and they see what is on the horizon so we are holding out. whether be good bad or ugly.
