Lake Park Iowa
We have had finishers for 13 years and with the addition of low phytase we have seen our P level drop from 50 to 60/thousand , down to the 20's.

The DNR and the state worked to get us all to have the P index and now wih low phytase being used, it is not really and issue with high P.

I would really like the owner of the hogs to take it out, but the cost per ton of feed is why he is using it. But we are losing on the fertilizer end. So that is how it is.
