Subject: RE: Frozen water line in watering bowl

Vauxhall, Alberta
I have always used a cordless drill and a little water pump that is made for the drill I think they are pretty cheap, then I use some 1/4 inch hose on each end of the drill, then put one end in the hot water and push the other end down the hose, that way the hot water is always on the ice. another thing that i have used was a hose fed alflex syringe. just put the 1/4 inch hose where the needle goes and push some hot water down there. Dosen't use much water and it always works for me, I have had where it was frozen 6 feet down before. Hope this helps.
