| I'd suggest talking with the people from Country Beef (used to be Oregon country beef). They have been working with RFID and cattle for the last couple of years. Some good, Some bad. Dumbest bad ( in my opinion) is new tags which are faulty and don't read right out of the box. Anyhow the people involved with growing for them would have a good idea about details in using RFID.
