Range of a couple feet is going to be a problem when you lock cows in a headgate...
Add attenuation on your reader to drop down the read range, plus, you get all of the advantages of UHF RFID. From what I've seen, the vast majority of all passive RFID work is going on in the UHF frequency range so UHF is where I'd be investing my money. |
