I make the deal long before the Steer hits the Sale Arena
I pay 1ยข per lb more than what the lot goes for
if Lot sells for $95 per 100 - I bay $96 per 100
I give the Steers number on his hip to the Auctioneer ahead of time (I don't have to be in the Sale Barn)
