Most Auction Yard People jump at a change to HELP 4H/FFA kids _ THERE ARE SOME VERY GOOD STEERS (NOT SCRUBS) THAT GO THROUGH THERE _ Have/Make the Kid TALK to the Bosses _ (It's good for the kid) In the yard you will get a tons of HELP picking a steer _ take a halter and lead rope _ When things slow down they will run them through the chute and put halters and Leads on the tie it up for a day or two _ some cowboys "Horseback" may even offer to Halter Break steers _ Plan on spending a day or three around there and you'll get a DAM GOOD Steer for Near Market Price _ I've done and seen this!
