Masonville, Iowa | Switched gestation setup out this summer and went with RFID to manage the sows in pens. My plans are to get the reader for PigChamp so that I don't need to write everything down on paper and transfer up in the office. I do have a a handheld reader to read tags, need to be less than 1 foot away from tag to pick it up. The panels in the sorters have about the same read range.
