Goff Kansas
i would say we have sold over 80% of our grain to an ethanol plant the past couple yrs. and has helped our personal basis by at least 15 - 30 cents. only achievable with on farm storage and watching for the opportunities. we have 3 with in a 100 miles with a fourth possibly coming if they don't buy someone out first and nix the plans for 4th. if ethanol stays below 2 dollars and corn stays above 4, i would think the margins are not advantageous for plans on the drawing board.
