Subject: RE: Where are the dairy farmers?

Sunnyside, WA
Milk 3X through parlors and have for years. Breed mainly for udders and feet and legs and figure the longevity and milk/components will come. Getting cows pregnant is one of my main focuses. Pregnant cows seem to solve most other problems, like milk/cow, replacements, and growth. Have been steadily growing within for the last few years. Makes it a lot of fun to see the offspring coming back into the milking herd! Facilities are a mix of 1/3 freestalls and 2/3 open lots. Most of my time is spent keeping everything and everyone moving in the right direction. I try to chime in on most issues here, but it seems there are just not as many dairyman that frequent this site.
