Chilliwack, British Columbia
MIlking 95 cows with the old man keeps me busy. We are 1 year in a 6 row freestall barn with a double 10 parallel parlour. grow our own forages with some left over to sell on about 150 acres, do all the field work ourselves except harvesting, round baling (all silage bales) and liquid manure handling.

Currently milking at about 34kg/cow/day, with 3.8%BF and 3.4%P.

Herd includes mostly all purebred/registered cattle, with 2 BS/HO crosses, and one of thier daughters bred back holstein. Would like to start milking more of them beasts, actually do pretty well. The one has never been in the hoof trim chute.
