Now don't feel bad.
Old man several years ago thought he had the e-brake set on the chevy and baled out to go in the house to take a bath before a meeting. Next thing he hears a helluva noise and turns around sees the pickup after it just glanced off a tin shed and went straight into the loading panels by the old chute. Best part of that, got rid of that no good aluminum grill gaurd that had the louvers on it. Always made that pickup run hot.
Then.......
yea, we ain't done yet........
Years later he sets the e brake on the ford. Turns around in time to watch it go over the embankement by the house and get good speed before plowing into a pipe and 5 rod suckerrod fence for a lot fence. The bumper got tossed and a hell for stout replacement deer killer put on.
Yes....I can share in your misery, 2nd person though.
