Hillsboro, AL | If you loose satellites around trees with RTK, the autopilot will drop into the manual mode (you have to steer). Many times you will only loose signal for a few seconds and RTK will lock right back in. Other times, it will have to resurvey. This can take 2-3 minutes. After we have the lines recorded for a field, we will start out in the field and work back toward the trees. We will lower the markers for the last couple of passes against the trees. That way we can fill in if the RTK drops out. And we have a lot of trees. | |
