Subject: RE: Rain needed

north central Oklahoma
I was told by some at a dog and pony shoe that if wheat is sprouted only, not yet emerged, it will still go through vernalilzation needed for stooling in the spring. Not sprouted yet, it's a crapshoot.

Just what I heard,
CC

My wheat is just teenie here in Oklahoma. I waited as late as I thought I could, but I don't have the train wrecks that some do with all the abandoned wheat now sprouting in between the rows. Can't see the rows in many fields around here. I am wondering what many will do with a 25-30 bushel planted stand.
