| I heard from a competing seed company researcher that between free seed and lost market share pioneer lost 360 million in sales this year. I also heard from another company that at least 3 large ex pioneer customers, about 1000 units each, who had switched to dekalb were given free 24 row John Deere corn planters to sign up with pioneer for 3 years. Another person told me he confirmed this story with pioneer employees. Here in ontario those would be very expensive planters, based on pioneer"s performance over the last 3 years. | |
