Bloomfield, KY. | OK, Ed, what I thought your original statement said was that OH has more acres of prime farmland, not a higher percentage of prime farmland. Rereading your original post, I still think that is what you said, but obviously that is not what you meant.
IA has vast amounts of fairly level land, but I don't know the percentage just offhand. And, yes, I know western OH is flat as a dime. As far as soil quality goes, I'll just say that I would trade mine for yours, but I wouldn't trade IA for yours.
Almost forgot to apologize for misunderstanding your original post as I said I would. "Sorry, my bad."
And I will also say something nice about OSU football. "They made a nice runnerup last year....basketball, too."
And something nice about BIG 10 football. "They are better than the Big East."
