I clicked on the files you uploaded and saved them to my hard drive. Then I used windows explorer to get to them and right clicked on them and selected "open with". The program that was available on my computer to read the .emf file format was Microsoft Office Picture Manager. It opened the files then I clicked "save as".

When I did this it made me export them to change the format but allowed them to save as a jpg file. Then I uploaded them here.

I know the feeling all too well. Most of my computer training has been through the all too painful trial and error method  making some pretty big mistakes along the way. I've had some good folks that have shown me how to do lots of things and enjoy helping others when I'm able to return the favor.
