Subject: Re: 225 Bushel Wheat

Jersey Shore, PA
Wow, 225 bu would be a nice bottom line w/these prices! We haven't grown wheat for several years, but good years would yield 100 bushels here in PA on river bottom. The last 2 years though we had major problems w/ wet harvest leading to sprouting in the head, disease, and eventually some had to be sold as feed wheat. This year would have been ideal as far as summer weather.

We were thinking about putting some out but our other crops were not off in time to get a good emergence and therefore yield. So we didn't do it. Never been to the no till conference. Would like to do it and hear what you have to say.

Scott
