| You are simply wrong. Payroll taxes support those two entitlements. If there were no entitlements such as social security, there would be a worse deficit than we have today. Eliminate SS and the revenues it brings in and you would have tons of unfunded spending. Revenues from SS are included in the total revenues of the federal balance sheet. It is borrowed money and should not be included on the revenue side when calculating the budget. Do they figure money borrowed from China as part of the revenues? I think not. | |
