| Before you do that,,,use an aerial photo to see what 2 short 40 acre pivots do with good end guns vs that one long wiper. The wiper WILL leave big corners 'dry where with any kind of endguns the 40's wont leave but an acre or two each. UNLESS you have corners you dont wanna water anyway,,like building sites, bins or swamp!! AND you CAN water those corners too,,,with a bit of imagination!! Land is too expensive to waste on those large corners!! HERE you plant them irrigated(defined expensive) and harvest a meger dryland crop!!(if that). IF you have a great well,,,can run both at once(maybe). Easy to put an inch on them a day each so can shut off 3/5 of the time,if one at a time,,if both off 4/5 at LEAST!! | |
