Subject: 36" row soybeans?

Owens Cross Roads, AL
How well do full season beans do in 36" rows? I am planning on planting 1200 acres of soybeans this spring. I currently have a 15' jd750 and a worn out case ih 900 bean planter that I have been using but the 900 is a pain to transport with the end transport wheels. The older I get, the easier I want things to operate. This is more beans than I care to drill, so I could use my eight row corn and cotton planter or buy a larger narrow row bean planter. I have looked at the 30' case ih 5500 soybean special and I have looked at a used 12 row wide kinze with interplant. I do not need to a tax deduction because of two dry years and my 7200 eight row is in excellent shape. Am I hurting myself with wide row beans? The neighbors have good yields with 30" rows, how will 36"s will compare to 30"s?
