USA | WRDA won't help me any. I am not against fixing the locks and dams on the IL and upper Miss rivers, but why should I have to help pay for it. It should be paid for by those who use them.
Do you know what the $23 billion is being spent on? It is my understanding, that the cost to rebuild the locks is $3 billion, and that $1 billion was allocated to these projects from the tax on fuel that is paid. Where is the other $21 billion going? | |
