Subject: rotational grazing

I'm new to this AgTalk and find that it is a wealth of knowledge. Does anyone rotationally graze? If you do I have a few questions.
What genetics are best suited? I currently run Black Simmental and have been using Ohlde Angus on my heifers.
How does anyone suggest to limit the hay? I live in South Eastern Illinois and experience a lot of mud during the fall and winter months.
What size lots would be optimum for 30 broods plus calves?
Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated!!!
