Cotton stalks have many uses.....
1
) pressed into fuel briquettes
(to heat poultry houses, etc.
)
2
) used for pulp for papermaking
3
) possible alternative fuel
(cellulosic
)
As far as bailing them, I suppose this is for easier transport, etc.
I know the fuel briquettes are the most used source around the north delta....
