Had to do some work in the field on the inside of the back end of the combine, so closed down the chaffer so I could move around. Forgot to open it back up, couldn't figure out why my yield was about half of what it should have been for about two acres. Finally dawned on me after dumping about $500 worth of beans on the ground. Good cover crop, they all grew and looked great.
Dumb tricks I pulled this fall...anybody else?
