Don, my Autopilot had the remote engage switch installed in the Deere Command arm from the onset.
I generally use it rather than the screen ICON. I have to remember that the AutoPilot engages when you release the momentary switch and not when you press it down. This can work well once you become used to it. You can press it early and then release when you want the Autopilot to engage.
