| I appreciate the information! The only problem i'm having is deciding what to do, the soy pellets I can get for $140 ton plus frieght.
The problem i'm having is i'm in the process of buying out a neighbor's cow herd, and I know that I don't have enough hay. In the buy out deal there is around 80 bales of one year old red clover/ lespadeza (these bales have been stacked out). What I was wanting to do is grind these bales along with a few of my good bales and put the soy pellets with it to meet the cows needs for the winter. all of the cows will be calving from early march to late april and usually I have plenty of mud for sale in this time frame (waist deep to a giraffe in the lots).
Any more thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks a bunch Jeremy
