Subject: RE: cattle feed

northwest tennessee
I have fed soy hull pellets for 6 or 8 years now. I wean calves and feed them around 8 pounds per head per day and they gain well on them. I feed free choice mineral and they will eat mineral while on them. They get all the hay they want too. I have also fed the the 2/3 soy pellet and 1/3 corn gluten pellet feed too and it is better. That is what I am feeding this year. I feed about 4 pounds per head per day to cows and makes hay go alot farther. I am doing that to one group of cows that I am feeding corn stalks that I rolled. You will like them and the cattle do too. They go right to them like they have been eating them for a while.
