around here cash rent is usually figured at 70 times the price of corn. We are seeing a lot of 240-250 and acre stuff around here. Even had one guy bid to rent from the church for 321! Kinda hard to get landlords to see past the dollar signs. I have a feeling there will be some mining in the area until rents come down.
