Sold it and bought a Eby. That was in 99". Haven't done a thing to it except wash and got its first acid bath this past spring. Looks like new again. I don't weld aluminum but have a local welding shop that does. When and if the time comes that will be where I take it. Never buy a steel one again. I'd hire my cattle trucked before I bought another steel.
Eby built a facility 15 miles north of me about 2 years ago and since then a number of their trailers have popped up across the countryside; I have heard zero complaints about them. Featherlite, Alum-line, and Kiefer Built also have a good reputation. With all due respect to Rich, I do not believe the anti-aluminum belief. With proper engineering, anything will last. |
