Pasco WA. | I considered baling some corn stalks this year. Getting them dry enough is a big challenge though. However after I looked into how much fertilizer is removed with the stalks and the baling cost I soon gave up on the idea. At $40 per ton the guys baling stocks are loosing lots of money. I had it figured that the P & K alone were worth around $30 plus another $30 for baling. Mine were all disked under. | |
