The foxtail will work. Those mixed bales will get consumed.

I couldn't get my cattle to eat the bean straw worth a darn. They ate maybe a 1/3 of a bale - mostly nosing out the few hulls.

I think it works some if you could tub grind it & mix the good hay & bean straw & make it smaller bits.

What they love are the bean hulls, but few of those make it into a bale. When I graze cornstalks & a bean field happens to be along inside the fence, they really clean up the bean field of hulls - as long as it stays dry. Don't like them so much if a wet spell mushes them on the ground.
