7 years ago on August 11, 2000 the cash price for corn at our closest terminal was $1.20. Elevator in town was priced at $1.09 the same day. Isn't it funny how things change. Noticed that while building a soybean database. Hopefully we never see that again. Don't think many $350 rents will get paid.

If any of you are interested in the soybean database I've been building you can download it. Prices are only from 1998 to present as that's when SDWG first began posting their cash prices.
